Equipped with 4-wheel steering and a 4WD drivetrain, the UTB18 4WS mini RC crawler dominates on challenging trails. Three steering modes – for no rear tire input, mirrored rear tire input, or “crab crawl” – can be activated from the included 3-channel Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz transmitter. The unmatched maneuverability lets you crawl with confidence on rock ledges, over obstacles, and through tight spots.
The officially licensed Mickey Thompson Baja Pro X tires have an aggressive stance and give the UTB18 Capra 4WS the grip to conquer rocky trails, rough dirt tracks, and most other indoor and outdoor crawling surfaces. The tires are mounted on Pro-Line Holcomb Internal Bead-Loc wheels.
Adding to the value of the UTB18 Capra 4WS RTR package, Axial includes a 3-channel Spektrum SLT3 2.4GHz transmitter plus a stand-alone 5-channel Spektrum SR515 receiver and Spektrum Firma 25A ESC. The receiver accommodates more lighting options and higher-level transmitters like the Spektrum DX series. Two Spektrum S664 25T steering servos, a Spektrum Smart 650mAh 2S LiPo battery, Spektrum Smart USB-C charger, and four AA transmitter batteries are also supplied.
Offering realistic trail buggy looks as well as optimum clearance over rugged terrain, the UTB tube chassis design has proven to dominate in 1/10 scale and 1/18 scale. In addition to its popular, well-known styling, the UTB18 cage is available in black (with the licensed Mickey Thompson Tire livery version) or gray (with the licensed King Shocks livery version).
Similar to the popular 1/10 scale Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail Buggy but 1/18 scale, the UTB18 Capra 4WS enables anyone to afford an exceptionally capable rig that offers the ultimate scale trail experience. Now you can adventure indoors or outdoors, and in locations with limited area for crawling – and with the advantage of 4-wheel steering for unrivaled maneuverability.
Axial has made adjustments to the 4-link geometry to allow for 4-wheel steering without sacrificing the proven performance and durability of the UTB18 rig.
Fully assembled and finished, the UTB18 Capra 4WS comes with a factory-installed motor, Spektrum 5-channel SR515 dual protocol receiver, Spektrum Firma 25A brushed ESC, and two Spektrum S664 25T steering servos. Everything you need to start crawling is included in the box. Just charge the provided LiPo battery with the USB-C charger and hit the trails!
The UTB18 Capra 4WS axles have a portal design with a Currie F9 center section. They provide scale authenticity and maximize the rig’s ground clearance for the best crawling performance.
The interior inside the licensed livery body panels features helmeted driver and passenger figures plus other realistic details that add to the UTB18 rig’s authentic 1/18 scale crawler looks.
Axial highlights the 1/18 scale realism with working LED headlights, light bar, and forward facing rock lights for crawling after the sun sets.
